Daphne Schechter

Daphne Schechter is an associate at Alter Wolff Foley & Stutman LLP. Daphne provides comprehensive legal representation for individuals and families across all areas of matrimonial and family law. Prior to joining AWFS, Daphne was an associate at BakerHostetler where she practiced commercial litigation. She has extensive experience in conducting depositions, drafting legal documents and developing litigation strategies.

Daphne graduated cum laude from Brooklyn Law School, where she was an active member of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law, Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and several other student organizations. She also served as a Student Prosecutor for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, where she assisted in the prosecution of misdemeanors and petty offenses. Additionally, Daphne worked in the Mediation Office for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York where she aided case management and observed and evaluated mediations. Daphne holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland.

Daphne is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and is licensed to practice in New York.
